4 February 2018 – Amusements
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it will always be yours. If it doesn’t come back, it was never yours to begin with.
But, if it just sits in your living room, messes up your stuff, eats your food, uses your telephone, takes your money, and doesn’t appear to realise that you had set it free…. you either married it or gave birth to it.
There was this lady who was visiting a church one Sunday. The sermon seemed to go on forever, and many in the congregation were dozing off.
After the service, she walked up to a very sleepy-looking gentleman, extended her hand in greeting, and said, “Hello, I’m Gladys Dunn.”
And the gentleman replied, “You’re not the only one, ma’am, I’m glad it’s done too!”
I’ve started a new exercise program.
I do twenty sit-ups every morning.
That may not sound like a lot, but you can only hit that SNOOZE button just so many times…
