I told you we would be away this weekend – so what are you hanging around here for? We’re off in the Campervan hiding somewhere in deepest, darkest East Sussex hoping to avoid all potential for contagion from the King’s coronation. A 15th/16th century institution pretending to have some relevance to the 21st century.
In a quick YCNMIU this week, there has been (not surprisingly) quite a bit of chatter recently about “shrinking” the monarchy. You will be surprised to learn that Princess Anne doesn’t think that’s a good idea.
Before we departed for the sanctuary of the East Sussex woods, we dragged outselves off to see the bluebells in Badby Woods. Now there’s something which is always majestic. Enjoy some of the least bad photos (plus a couple taken at Canons Ashby just up the road).
Meanwhile, keep happy, keep smiling, be careful, wear a f**king facemask in crowded places and keep your distance. And keep safe. And be gentle to wasps and bees.
