No news this week – sorry/you’re welcome. We have our very good friends the Boyntons visiting and we’ve been busy, busy, busy. We’re off as I speak to the MLB in London game. It’s not Dodger Stadium and it is certainly not Fenway but the Olympic Stadium is as good a place as many to watch some baseball on a hot, sunny Sunday afternoon.
Just a couple of YCNMIUs to get you through the week. Sorry, but I seem to have missed this story at the time – Charlotte Owen was elevated to the House of Lords in Johnson’s resignation honours list. She’s 29 and worked as Maternity Cover in No 10. Some are mystified as to her qualifications and what she’s done to deserve her peerage. She is young and blonde – exactly the type Boris has cheated with all his life. Just sayin’.
And this – the chief executive officer of industry lobby group Water UK, claimed the issue of gallons of raw sewage being spewed out on a daily basis is an issue only because more people had taken up water pursuits such as cold-water swimming
Meanwhile, keep happy, keep smiling, be careful, wear a f**king facemask in crowded places and keep your distance. And keep safe. And be gentle to wasps and bees.
