28 December 2025

It’s been a distinctly marvellous week – I hope your festivities, celebrations and gatherings were as joyful and satisfying as ours. Someone had a great birthday on Monday and then, on Thursday, we had to do it all over again!

My goodness we got through a lot of food and there’s probably sufficient leftovers to last us well into January. Delicious.

For those of you who don’t do Facebook or would rather do anything than follow me, I posted these photos on Tuesday. Nick and Annabelle were here and we were joined by Adam, Ava and the girls. A great, great day.

And then, after a couple of days of full-on, non-stop preparations, we had to do it all over again on Thursday. Happy Christmas!

The girls were full of fun and excitement – Juju went ballistic with all the Bluey puzzles, Lego and other Bluey-related paraphernalia she received and Jessie was very sweet and mature in tolerating Juju’s enthusiasm. Annabelle was a star and entertained Juju almost single-handedly while all the chaos of the Christmas lunch preparations went on around them.

In other news – I don’t think there is any other news! We wish you all a very Happy New Year and hope that 2026 brings you happiness and joy. And perhaps a bit of sanity in a crazy, crazy world.

Meanwhile, keep breathing, keep happy, keep smiling, keep exercising, be good, be careful, and keep safe. And, be gentle to wasps and bees – we need all the pollinators we can get. And, hold your loved ones close.

Lots of love to you all,

Greg
